Randy Barber, Associate
Minister
Randy
has been with Trinity United Methodist Church since
1997. As the leader of New Visions Band he and the band
have provided music and praise in the Contemporary
Worship Services since 1998. He joined the staff as an
Associate Minister in 2004 when his band leader position
changed to include the position of Worship Leader. He
also leads the tech-team to develop graphics, sound and
music that enhance worship services. Randy has been
playing music for 30 years with various bands. He has
studied electronics at Mohawk Valley Community College
and graphics design at Pratt at Munson Williams Proctor
Institute School of Art.
As Associate Minister at Trinity Randy is able to
“minister with the music” he plays and it “connects
people with God who might not otherwise make that
connection.” Randy is married to Susan Barber and he has
two daughters who all share his love of music in
worship.
