years, Sunday School Teacher 14 years, two
children ages 11and 14.
TEACHERS:
All teachers are currently enrolled in
college courses in the education field.
VOLUNTEERS:
College students from MVCC and Utica College
are selected to tutor in Math & Reading.
High School Students are selected to mentor
in class rooms with teachers.
All Staff and Volunteers
of Tree House Program are properly
screened and finger printed

POSSIBLE DAILY SCHEDULE:
6:30AM-9AM
MORNING PROGRAM
Breakfast preparation, quiet play and wake up
exercises. May include art, music and cooking.
AFTERNOON PROGRAM
3-3:15 Greeting/music and message, songs, bridge
building activities, multicultural speakers from
the community.
3:15-4:00 Snack and homework help. (all children
will go into the homework room for at least 20
minutes. Tutors from MVCC & UC will be
available)
4-4:45 Organized and free play . Thinking games,
large motor games, opportunity to play on the
play ground or outside.
4:45-5:15 Creative expression. Arts, drama,
cooking and wood working
5:15 Clean up and pick up
SUMMER PROGRAM
6:45AM-5:30PM
A summer camp feeling! Children in groups by
ages rotate into different areas and
specialties: Sports, Arts/Crafts, Computers,
Learning Centers, Drama/Music, Outside group
games and Reading Challenges. All this plus
Spiritual Growth on their own level.
RATIO: State requires 1 adult to 10 children, The Tree
House strives for 1 adult to 5 children.
RATE: $4.50 to $10/day sliding fee schedule. Full day
rate-$15-22/day. NYS Office of Children & Family Services School-Age
